Daryl Williams

Daryl is a resident of Northampton County, where he resides with his wife Kandy. They have two daughters.  He recently retired after 30 years with the State of North Carolina. 

Daryl strives to promote the positive changes and growth he wants to see in the community. As Director, Daryl values the personal relationships created with business owners as well as members. 

Cliff Forbes

Cliff Forbes is a Murfreesboro native and resident of the nearby Northampton County. He is an alumnus of Chowan University, right here in Murfreesboro. He is a third generation insurance agent serving the local Boyette & Robertson Agency.

Cliff is a wonderful husband to his wife, Jo Ann, and father to his daughter, Polly. He loves the small-town atmosphere that Murfreesboro provides.

Sara Crowder

Sara is a local Financial Advisor who works with a select group of families, business owners and other individuals to help insure they're on track to meet their specific needs in retirement, and financial goals.  
 
She loves working in beautiful, historic Murfreesboro because she shares the same values as many of her clients, we believe in our families, friendships and showing kindness to others. 

Joni Saner

Joni Saner was raised in Edenton, North Carolina and moved to Murfreesboro on 2005 as a Chowan student. She is the owner/operator of Insert Coin Arcade + Bar, a craft cocktail bar that strives to create community across generations. She lives here in Murfreesboro with her husband Michael and their son Jeffrey, whom she homeschools.

Joni loves that Murfreesboro is a place where familiar faces become friends, and hopes to continue bringing modern aspects of life to the area, while maintaining a respect for the historical presence of the town. 

Kim King

Kim King was born and raised in Murfreesboro and is a graduate of Pitt Community College (Associate of Science- Radiography) and Chowan University (Bachelor of Science in Business Administration).  She has worked at Vidant Roanoke Chowan Hospital for 25 years, working in the Radiology department and is now Director of Outpatient services. 

She lives in Winton with her husband- Mark and 2 children- Gracie and Gage.  She looks forward to serving on the Chamber Board and serving the Murfreesboro community.

Misty Buren

Misty resides in Northampton County with her husband Adam and two boys, Aiden and Hudson. She is a graduate of Chowan University and has worked at State Employees’ Credit Union in Murfreesboro for the last 17 years. She is currently serving as their Branch Manager.  

Misty enjoys working in Murfreesboro and the small town atmosphere it provides. She looks forward to serving the Murfreesboro Community as a member of the Chamber Board.
